Ro’i Idan filmed the terrorists who infiltrated his kibbutz using paragliders at the onset of the war. He immediately returned home and was killed along with his wife, Smadar. Their children, Michael and Amelia, hid in cupboards and survived. Their 3-year-old daughter Avigail was kidnapped to Gaza along with family neighbors.
