Dor Malka

Citizen

A former Liga Bet player for Bnei Eilat, Dor was among the attendees at the music festival that tragically ended in a horrific massacre by the cursed Hamas terrorists. His aunt Esther, mourned: “Blessed be the true judge. My Dor, my beloved nephew, my precious son! My bones ache, my heart refuses to believe. We clung to hope for several days, the optimism that was always part of you. The bitter news we received this morning shattered our hearts and created a deep chasm within us.

You have left your mark on so many hearts, I want to remember you like that, with your captivating smile and your pure heart. Rest in peace, my angelic child, and watch over us from above. May your memory be blessed and your rest be in Eden.”

Tamar Nofi, manager of the youth department at M.S. Bnei Eilat, spoke about the murder of former player Dor Malke: “The Maccabi Bnei Eilat soccer club and the entire city of Eilat are stunned and grieving the murder of our former player, Dor Malka. Dor just went to work selling jewelry at a party, and was caught in the abominable surprise attack of human monsters, his life cut short in its prime. Dor was an amazing and unique boy. Everyone in the city loved him.

“Dor was the epitome of ‘salt of the earth,’ growing up in our kids’ team right up to the youth team, always standing out with his love for others, helping the weak, and his endless caring. His love for the team continued even after he stopped playing due to his military service, always following the games and cheering the team on. Dor was also a successful Pochivali player, participating in the Israeli championships and representing Eilat with honor. After returning from his military service, he rejoined the club about two years ago.”
