Adir was a Captain in the Home Front Command. He led dozens of recruits at Zikim Base and heroically guided all his soldiers into a bomb shelter during the terrorist infiltration. Adir was killed in a fierce gunfight while defending his soldiers and base.

I am writing to you from Pennsylvania, United States. I am heartbroken over the loss of Adir and want to express my deep sorry for this tragedy. I know he will never be forgotten as a brave, strong chayal. A hero. We continue to daven for Israel and all of the chayalim.
