Comfort, comfort my people, says your God
Isaiah 40:1 RSV
Comforting Jewish people who suffered as a result of British policies and actions during the period of the British Mandate in the Biblical Land of Israel
Join us praying for broken and contrite hearts (Psalm 51:17 RSV) for the great suffering Britain brought upon the Jewish people
Hundreds of thousands could have escaped the holocaust if Britain had not severely restricted Jewish immigration into their ancient homeland
Help bring them comfort by endorsing the
Declaration of sorrow for the failures
of the British Mandate
We want Israel to know that many British Christians are deeply sorry for the way our nation betrayed them.
The total number of signatures will be published with the declaration.
Your names and addresses will be kept for a short period for verification purposes only and will not be made public. The Declaration will be presented in Israel at a ceremony in Atlit Former Detention Camp to mark the 70th anniversary of the end of the British Mandate. This will take place on 11 May 2018 by kind permission of the camp director and with the support of Love Never Fails - an alliance of UK Christian Israel-related organisations.
