Yehonatan Malka

His sister Shira mourned: “Yehonatan, my dear brother, my Yoni, how do you part from a twin brother, from a triplet? We went through significant stations in life together. You were a symbol of goodness and purity. You loved our land and paid with your life. I asked you not to go to war, you didn’t give up on yourself despite the difficulties you went through. You told me, ‘It’s my destiny to protect our land.'”

His brother Ariel Malka eulogized: “Yoni my brother, how you fought to get back in and fight with your friends. You chose to return and fight in Khan Yunis where your smile was cut off. I miss you, my little brother. After two weeks in the Strip, you wrote to me in a letter, ‘Ariel I am proud of you. God willing, we will have good days.’ We will be strong, Yehonatan.”
