Tomer Yaakov Mizrachi

First Sergeant Tomer Mizrachi, a 22-year-old resident of Hosha’aya, was murdered in the early hours of the battle in the south, while defending his fellow soldiers and the residents of the various communities that were under attack.

He was eulogized: “Tomer was a happy and beloved child. He wanted to serve in the most combat-oriented service possible, and they took him for a responsible role in the platoon. He was loved in his platoon. He was a mischievous kid, liked to sit with his friends for long hours, loved to play guitar and sing, loved the good life. He was in the last period of his service and was supposed to be released soon.”
