Superintendant Vadim Blich


Superintendant Vadim Blich from Haifa was killed while engaging in fierce combat against terrorists in Be’eri. Married to Ortal, and a father to Liam, age 11, Mia, age 8, and Liz, age 4, his entire unit was mobilized due to firing and the infiltration of terrorists. He led the force, which was divided into teams. He was at the head of the team that encountered a terrorist stronghold in the village of Be’eri. They eliminated a significant number of terrorists, but Blich was killed in the battle. His friends describe him as modest, quiet, and a fighter to his core. Throughout his service, he served as a role model and was a source of support for his friends. He was always attentive and ready to help. His friends talk about a man with a huge heart, who always gave of himself quietly. After his death, he was posthumously promoted to Deputy Commissioner.
