Ofir, from Nir Yitzhak, was a soldier in the Nahal Brigade’s Commando unit. He and two of his fellow soldiers left a secure location to rescue wounded soldiers when they were suddenly attacked by terrorists. Prior tom joining the IDF, Ofir had volunteered for a year of national service in Pardes Chana, guiding young students who loved him dearly. He served as a big brother and a loving guide to the boys.
