Sgt. Maj. Yanin Sivan


Sivan was a community police officer for the Bedouin population at the Ar’ar station. He was killed while securing the music festival near Re’im. A strapping man with a tender and pure heart, he was loved by all. A father and husband, he viewed life through a lens of curiosity and sincerity. Sivan was also a kibbutznik at heart, passionate about music and language. He leaves behind parents, siblings, and children.

    It was so heartbreaking to learn of the tragic loss of your beloved son, brother and father. I hope it will bring some comfort to know that others are with you in your sorrow. May his memory be a blessing and strengthen Israel and the world in our fight against evil.
