Sgt. Amir Eyal

Amir was the middle member of the Eyal family, he started his studies at the Reali School in Realigan. His school teachers describe a blond and smiling boy, a good friend and sports lover. He played basketball at Maccabi Haifa, ping pong and tennis and loved watching all the sports broadcasts on television from Israel and the world. His parents paid tribute to him, among other things: We were a close-knit and happy family, we traveled and had fun around the world. You were an outstanding athlete. You were always with a ball in your hand… If only you knew how many people came today to honor you. You were an exemplary brother, you used to help us with joy.”
