Roi Nagari

He was eulogized: “To my son Guy’s commander and second father: Every time you entered the house during the service, it always felt like you were beside him. The stories about you never stopped.
You were and will forever be a very significant part of Guy’s life and became such for me too. Rest in peace, in quiet, serenity, and pride. You left behind a legacy, a small part of which is our children who were educated and united in your shadow, each becoming a man in great pride as ‘Team Nagari’.

In your father’s eulogy, he asked, ‘If I had shouted to Nagari that entering that house to save a family would end his life at that very moment, what would he have answered me, go in? Or not go in?’. Immediately came the roar of the unit’s fighters that broke the silence and left no doubt ‘Go in!!!’

Nagari – You were a true commander, a true leader, always first. I saluted you with tears in my eyes, as your father did along with all your family members and the thousands of people who attended your funeral.”
