In recent years, Israel and Menucha lived in separate houses in Kibbutz Kisufim. Menucha came to the kibbutz from Holon as a soldier-teacher to be with her core family members. After her military service, she returned to Holon, got married, and had two children. In 1976, they returned to the kibbutz and have lived there ever since. Israel and Menuha were trapped in their homes in Kisufim. After 24 hours in the bomb shelter, Israel was rescued, but Menucha did not survive the massacre. May her memory be a blessing.
