Mark was incredibly popular and was always surrounded by friends and family. He had a radiant smile and was always attentive to others, even in terrifying moments when he and his friends were in hiding. When his friends fled one way, he went in the other direction because he saw another group in trouble. He was captured on camera running towards them with a water bottle and was shot. Those were the final moments of his life.
