Maor Cohen Eisenkot

As Maor’s coffin, draped in the Israeli flag, entered the military cemetery, hundreds of Eilat residents who came to honor Maor on his final journey waved Israeli flags. He was a nephew of Cabinet member and Minister Gadi Eisenkot, who served in the Golani Brigade’s 12th Battalion.

His mother, Sharon Eisenkot, wrapped in the Golani Unit’s flag printed with Maor’s picture, cried over the fresh grave” “This can’t be, I want my son back.”
