Lieutenant Colonel (Res.) Moshe Yedidya Leiter, from Ein Tzurim, a company commander in Battalion 697 of Brigade 551, who served as a platoon commander in the Shaldag unit, fell in battle in the northern Gaza Strip, at the age of 39. In the midst of his medical studies. He left behind a wife and six young children, including a three-month-old son, Ivri.

The entire Sha’ar Hanegev Regional Council mourned and lamented the heavy disaster, sharing sincere condolences to his dear wife Tzippy, to the Leiter family, and to the entire community of Ein Tzurim: “May you know no more sorrow and be comforted from heaven. May God avenge his death.”
