Itay Yehuda

Itay, of blessed memory, served in the Tzabar Battalion of the Givati Brigade and was set to celebrate his 21st birthday two weeks before he fell in battle in the northern part of the Gaza Strip, alongside his fellow soldiers, who were wounded by an anti-tank missile fired by terrorists at their armored personnel carrier. He leaves behind his parents, Rinat and Ofer, and two brothers, Omer and Adi. His relatives share that he was a cheerful child, sensitive, loving, caring, sociable, and extremely talented in drawing. He dreamed of becoming a tattoo artist and opening his own place. He loved the army and his fellow soldiers in the battalion, and he was clear in his belief that his life’s mission was to defend his homeland.
