First Class Amir Fisher

“My dear nephew, the beloved, brave, and our hero, Amir Fisher, fell in combat yesterday on the Gaza border. Our son, brother, grandson, nephew, cousin, and friend whom we all loved, took pride in, and admired for his determination to leave his family abroad, ascend to the land of Israel, and serve in the most elite units as a lone soldier. Our hearts are torn! Words cannot express the sadness and the profound loss we feel and the inconceivable joining of families who have suffered bereavement.
Tears choke the throat, hoping to awaken soon from this nightmarish folly.”
