Corporal Uriel Segal from Petah Tikva was a cook in the 51st Battalion of the Golani Brigade. He was 19 years old when he fell, killed by terrorist gunfire. He was described as a kind-hearted, soulful person with a listening ear, someone who deeply cared and loved to help everyone.
His brother Nathaniel mournfully eulogized: “Uriel was a kind-hearted and caring person who loved to help everyone. He loved life and spending time with friends, with whom he was keen to maintain contact. We are in complete shock. We never imagined that something like this could happen; we can’t believe it and we don’t know how to digest the news that he is no longer with us.”
