The Triathlon Association, of which he was a member, issued a statement of farewell: “We mourn the untimely loss of Chen Yahalom, who died in a bicycle training accident. Yahalom, a talented athlete and Ironman, leaves behind dozens of shocked and grieving friends and partners in the Israeli triathlon world. We share the heavy sorrow of his widow Or and the Yahalom family. May his memory be blessed.”
