Arik Kraunik

Resident of the Gaza Envelope

Arik Kraunik was another brave soul who fell while defending Kibbutz Be’eri. A proud father to Tamar Kraunik, a young soldier in the Magav unit, he had long dreamed of the day he could salute her achievements. Sadly, Arik couldn’t be there when Tamar completed her officers’ training. His wife Sigal shared, “Tamar initially hesitated to attend the ceremony, but she realized that her father would have wanted her to carry on, to stand tall as an officer. We know he was watching over us.”
