Sergeant Major Masli was a ‘Namer’ technician in Battalion 601 in the Combat Engineering Corps. Mayor Avi Elkabetz said: “With great sorrow, we have just been informed about the death of another IDF soldier, a resident of the city, the third one who was killed during the war in the south: Alexander Masli, Namer technician.”

  3. I was so saddened to read of the loss of such a wonderful young man, lost as he was bravely serving his country and all Jews worldwide. We are all eternally grateful for his bravery in protecting Israel and all of the Jewish people.     Please accept my deepest condolences on the tragic loss of Alexander. As a technician for the Namer group Alexander defended not only his family and his fellow Israelis but all of Am Yisrael. May God avenge Alexander’s blood and comfort you among the mourners of Tzion and Yerushalayim.
