Albert was born in Alexandria to a traditional family. He moved to Israel and from the age of 16 lived in a kibbutz as a secular Zionist. A joyful person, he sang and danced in Arabic, Hebrew, and Spanish. He lived a beautiful, full life until he was tragically murdered, along with hundreds of his fellow kibbutz members, by the dregs of humanity. There is no joy; only sorrow.

How sad to lose such a happy person, who brought joy to all. I hope it eases your pain a little to know that all over the world, people share in your sorrow and the loss of such a beautiful soul. May his memory be a blessing and may Hashem bring you comfort.
Dear Miles family,
I write to express my profound sorrow at the loss of your dear Albert. I never had the privilege to meet Albert, but your description vividly conveys his warmth, his joy, and his love for the happy gathering of friends and family. May God avenge Albert’s blood and comfort you among the mourners of Tzion and Yerushalayim.
