Eden was an officer in the Armored Corps who fought from the first moments of the war in Gaza. Tragically, the tank he was leading was hit, resulting in his death. He was a down-to-earth, value-driven, true fighter. He loved his country and defended it with dedication and professionalism. He was a leader wherever he went. His family is in shock after his community suffered a horrific blow, with captives, murder victims, and a missile hitting way too close to home.

The loss of Eden is a tragedy for klal Yisroel. Eden was a young man of courage who deserved a life of happiness and peace. Instead he fell as he bravely fought for his country. He will forever be remembered for his leadership and commitment to duty. May God avenge his blood and may you be comforted among the mourners of Tzion and Yerushalayim.
